TICAD7 UNV主催サイドイベントのお知らせ「ユースボランティア活動とイノベーション：アフリカの社会経済と政治的変革に向けて」

本年8 月横浜で開催されるアフリカ開発会議（TICAD7）にて国連ボランティア計画（UNV）が公式サイドイベントを主催します。皆様のお越しをお待ちしております。

 

 

「ユースボランティア活動とイノベーション：アフリカの社会経済と政治的変革に向けて」

アフリカの包摂的な社会的変革及び平和と安定を実現するため、アフリカ人口の3分の1を占める若者の能力を発揮させることが求められています。イノベーションと若者の起業家精神を活用したボランティア活動は、雇用やビジネス、新しいサービスの提供を創出します。

この度、国連ボランティア計画（UNV）では、平和構築・開発におけるグローバル人材育成事業（外務省）のサポートを得て、「ユースボランティア活動とイノベーション：アフリカの社会経済と政治的変革に向けて」と題したTICAD7公式サイドイベントを開催します。本イベントでは、SDGsとアジェンダ2063実施における人間中心の手法として、ボランティア活動がいかにアフリカの平和と開発に貢献し得るか実例を紹介し議論を深めます。

【Invitation for TICAD7 Side Event】

“Socioeconomic and Political Transformation in Africa through Innovative Youth Volunteerism”

Cultivating a new generation of innovators, problem-solvers and more technologically savvy youth remains central to inclusive economic and social transformation as well as durable social cohesion and stability in Africa. Utilizing innovative approaches to volunteerism to harness the abundant entrepreneurial spirit of young people will ensure the creation of adequate new and productive jobs, businesses and new ways to deliver services.

United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme will host an event titled “Socioeconomic and Political Transformation in Africa through Innovative Youth Volunteerism” as TICAD7 official side event, with the support of Program for Global Human Resource Development for Peacebuilding and Development (Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan). The event will showcase the added value of volunteerism to peacebuilding and development (2030 and 2063 Agendas) in Africa, and share innovative practices of volunteerism as a cost effective and people-centered mechanism for the implementation of the twin agendas.
